Fred again.. is inviting fans into the studio for his next release. The UK producer has announced that he and Mexico City’s Latin Mafia will livestream the completion of their collaborative mixtape on YouTube beginning tomorrow at 1 p.m. Mexico City time. The stream will stay live until the project is finished and released.

The collaboration has been years in the making. Fred shared that the two acts have been working on music together on and off for the past couple of years, with every idea naturally feeling like part of the same project. Rather than splitting the material across separate releases, they decided to bring it together as a single mixtape, finishing it in Latin Mafia’s hometown of Mexico City.

Fred has been vocal about his admiration for the trio, calling them “some of my favourite music in the world right now.” The feeling is mutual. Speaking to Rolling Stone, Milton de la Rosa described Fred as “one of the brightest musical minds that we have met,” while brother Emilio said the artists have become close friends after spending time together in London and Mexico City.

The relationship began after Fred championed Latin Mafia’s 2024 debut album Todos Los Días Todo El Día. Since then, they’ve shared studio sessions, reunited onstage during the final stop of Fred’s USB002 Tour in Mexico City, and offered an early glimpse of the collaboration with Under the Fabric (Mexico City, 11th December 2025). Now, fans will get to watch the final chapter unfold live, with the mixtape arriving before the stream ends.
