This Saturday May 27th at 6:23am the second North American Jordan Store will open in our fair city of Toronto. With over a hundred people already in line for opening day, we got the first look inside the three-level permanent store located at 306 Yonge Street, just steps from Yonge & Dundas Square.

“Toronto has long been known for its international appeal and, more recently, a unique basketball culture. These attributes make the city a perfect location for delivering the best of what Jordan Brand has to offer, from pinnacle products to a training space where athletes can pursue greatness.”

Originally opened during the 2016 NBA All-Star Weekend, the space has been meticulously revamped over the past year to fuse Jordan Brand retail with Toronto’s community and culture. The space features photography of local high schools by Jamal Burger, custom art by Toronto streetwear brand OG and artist Bryan Espiritu as well as a vintage scoreboard from Father Henry Carr high school.

The store breaks down as follows: a mens retail and customization area on the ground floor, a training space with a barbershop on the second floor, and a youth and kids retail and customization area on the concourse level.

“it’s time to properly RECO6NIZE Toronto’s spot within sports, art, and culture with a permanent home for Jordan Brand.”
