We showed you the preview last week of Karl Lagerfeld’s latest filmic effort and now we’ve got the full 25 minute long clip of The Tale of A Fairy, which is slightly awkward yet beautifully intriguing at moments.
It starts out with a weird tense plot line between reckless filthy rich sisters played by Amanda Harlech and Kristen McMenamy, clearly proving that if you’re a model, acting is probably not your forte. Following that there’s a party scene filled with a-list models including Bianca Balti, Baptiste Giabiconi, Brad Koening, Jake Davies, Mark Vanderloo, Oriol Elcacho, Sebastien Jondeau, Seth Kuhlmann, the star, yet another sister Anna Mouglalis and her sexy fairy friend Freja Beha.
We watched it right to the end and it’s definitely worth the wait to see the emotive final scene and the credits set to the Crocodiles track “Mirrors”. Karl Lagerfeld is a weird genius alright.
