Check out everyones favourite Swedish electronic diva Fever Ray on her most recent single which is actually a cover of Peter Gabriel’s well-loved track “Mercy Street”.
Known for her live covers of artists like Nick Cave and Vashti Bunyanand, she puts her own spin on Gabriel’s track for a limited edition 7″ which is set to drop on September 14th via Mute.
We’re really loving her take on the song, almost as much as we love the original, yet we have to admit upon first listen we mistook it for her own, which is usually the sign of a great cover.
