Italian luxury fashion brand Fendi continues to make moves in the fashion industry with their latest collaboration announcement. Continuing their “Friends of Fendi” series, which has seen co-designed projects with Marc Jacobs, Versace, and SKIMS, the brand has enlisted Italian designer Stefano Pilati, formerly of Yves Saint Laurent and Ermenegildo Zegna, for their Winter 2023/2024 collection.

The collection, which can be viewed below, is Pilati’s investigation of what is possible by going beyond the traditional boundaries of gendered tailoring and silhouettes.  Blurring the line of outdated gender norms the separation between fabrics and fit is tossed to the side with silk and leather for all. The collection’s lookbook also stars trans model Colin Jones, whose runway walk was the subject of many Fashion Month viral videos.

The collection also features a slew of accessories including an array of shoes like loafers with a kitten heel and unisex ankle strap ballerinas. The bags in the collection feature the brand’s new Baguette Twist in colour-blocked smooth nappa leather, a new metallic logo Baguette, the new Boston 365 bag in hammered leather, and the dual pocketed Peekaboo, all in the classic colours inspired by Fendi’s Roman roots.

This collection will launch in November 2023 in FENDI boutiques and on fendi.com.
