… and now you can dress appropriately for it. Made as a tribute to luxury label Chanel, Japanese designer Tetsuya Noguchi has crafted a unique piece of somewhat traditional samurai armor made from resin, cashew lacquer, cloth, and glass. The tribute armor comes with the double “C” Chanel logo located throughout the piece including the helmet, chest, and leg pads. It is unsure at the moment whether the armor was actually commissioned by Chanel, or simply a labour of love, but regardless the armor is intricately crafted and undoubtedly superb.
