Next wednesday in Toronto, some of Canada’s finest emerging short filmakers will unite for the forth year in a row at a free public screening to be judged by a panel of jurors of actors and directors which include Jason Priestley, Alan Cumming, Sheila McCarthy, Jeremy Podeswa, and Kari Skogland for Air Canada’s enRoute Film Festival.
The grand prize winning filmmaker will receive a cool five grand, which we’re assuming is to be spent on their filmic endeavours in addition to an all-inclusive trip to the Whistler Film Festival (runners up will also receive this).
Be sure to check out the free screening followed by a gala at the Drake Hotel (where the winners will be announced) on October 13th, and if you’re on an Air Canada flight between now an November you can view the selected film on your seat back.
