Emilia Clarke has had a stellar year. After being named Esquire’s ‘Sexiest Woman Alive,’ Dior has set its sights on the Game of Thrones actress. She joins Johnny Depp, Natalie Portman, Marion Cotillard, and Jennifer Lawrence as a spokesperson for the French brand. She sat front row at the spring 2016 show and has been rocking Dior often. In photos shot by famed fashion photographer Patrick Demarchelier, Clarke looks fresh-faced, youthful, and elegant. We agree with Dior’s statement below. She’s certainly stunning.
Demarchelier captures the young actress’ natural, timeless beauty — a true reflection of the Rose des Vents stunning line of long and short necklaces in yellow and rose gold, diamonds, white mother-of-pearl, and pink opal.
The announcement is welcome news as this week saw the departure of Raf Simons without a replacement. A few days later, Alber Elbaz also parted ways with Lanvin. It seems both French brands are seeking to shake things up.
