Ruba Abu-Nimah has just been named Creative Director of ELLE Magazine US.
Nimah is the first female creative director for the glossy since its inception in 1985. Her most recent experience has been in the beauty industry, spending eight years at Bobbi Brown and currently acting as the global creative director of Shiseido.
ELLE US editor-in-chief, Robbie Myers has said of the new hire:
“We’re thrilled to have the first female creative director, but that’s not why we are hiring her, her work speaks for itself.”
