Trendsetting and always-hot American designer Rick Owens has once again teamed up with British footwear brand Dr. Martens on a two-piece boot collection. This time around, Owens takes on Dr. Marten’s bold calf-height 1918 and iconic ankle-height 1460 silhouettes as his creative canvas. As to be expected, Owens brings his signature dark and exaggerated architecture to the boots with an oversized, heightened tongue, heavy side zips, and bold wrap-around laces. These are the cool accessible designer botts you need for your closet.

For us the most versatile and probably sought-after pair in the collection is the 8-eye boot 1460. The height of the boot is perfect while being made from soft, heavyweight pebbled black Lunar leather. With thick contrasting pearl laces, extra wide eyelets with a dull silver finish, and the iconic yellow stitching. These boots can easily be your everyday pair.

The 1918 calf-height boot is a statement all onto itself.  The upper of the boot is constructed using platinum Hair-On leather, and fitted with pearl laces, with eyelets and hook trims in a dull silver finish. The statement boot also features yellow welt stitching and is finished with a dual-branded sock liner.

The Rick Owens Docs are set to release Thursday, October 14, 2022, in physical stores of both the labels and on the Doc Marten website.
