Just in time for the start of the holiday shopping season, Dior has announced new additions to La Collection Privée beyond fragrance with three new pieces designed to bring the House’s olfactory world into the home. Leading the launch is Valberg, a new scented candle inspired by the Southern Alps, alongside a sculptural wax vase and a couture edition of the Bouquet Privé diffuser.
The latest candle takes its name from Valberg, the quiet winter resort where Christian Dior would ski and retreat from Paris. Its fragrance captures the atmosphere of an evening in a mountain chalet, blending crisp red berries with resinous pine and warm, smoky notes. Housed in black lacquered glass with the collection’s signature grooved silhouette, the candle pairs a familiar Dior design language with a scent that feels distinctly suited to the colder months.
The launch also introduces a scented wax vase that brings together perfumery and floral design, two longstanding sources of inspiration for the couturier. Sculpted with the House’s signature cannage pattern and finished with a metal base engraved with Dior’s initials, the piece diffuses the amber and spicy notes of 30 Montaigne while serving as a vessel for floral arrangements.

Rounding out the trio is a limited couture edition of the Bouquet Privé diffuser, reimagined with a black leather sleeve embossed with the cannage motif. Created in collaboration with design studio Atelier Oï, its openwork metal structure arranges fragrance reeds like flowers in a bouquet. Four scents are available for the diffuser, including Jardin d’Orangers, Oud Supreme, Thé Osmanthus and Eden-Roc, each offering up to twelve weeks of continuous fragrance.
Together, the three pieces extend La Collection Privée into a more considered approach to the home, where scent, craftsmanship and the codes of Dior couture meet.
