After announcing and cancelling their Men’s Pre-Fall 2024 runway show at Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Cruise Terminal, Dior has decided to release a vibrant lookbook instead. Jackie Nickerson photographed the collection against a vivid blue backdrop, which makes the clothing stand out and pop. The collection by men’s designer Kim Jones is a sophisticated and polished yet playful line of men’s pieces that dance around the line of formal and casual wear.

The collection offers some of the more intriguing pieces, including beautiful hole-punched overcoats, bold Dior Oblique knitwear, eye-catching organza-lined shorts, subtle logo hats, and more. Collared shirts switch up buttons for ties that show just enough of the wearer’s torso, as do long-sleeve shorts that feature two zippers for very cool versatility in styling options. While it’s known that Jones is careful with the use of the Dior Oblique monogram, its appearance in this collection is fantastic and works to be one of the stronger pieces, in my opinion. Finally, the bags are coming in hot! Of course, the Saddle bags are top-notch, although this time around, they are presented as clutches versus crossbody side bags. The backpacks are elegant but it is what look like modified Charm bags with bold framing around them that have caught our eye! What is it? So nice!
