In 2024, Rihanna became the new face of Dior‘s iconic J’adore fragrance. Now, the brand is ushering in a new era for fragrance: J’adore Intense, an ode to Rihanna’s shimmering radiance, modern style, and striking confidence. Francis Kurkdjian, the Perfume Creation Director for the House of Dior, said, “It is rare for me to compose a fragrance with a specific woman in mind. For J’adore Intense, however, I made an exception and created this scent based on an image of truly contemporary ultra-femininity.”
J’adore Intense is a decidedly feminine fragrance, that pushes the bouquet notes to an even more fragrant profile that melts onto the skin.
“For this new intense concentration, I wanted to create a honeyed floral nectar that was really sensual and rounded, colourful and gourmand, as though all the colour-saturated flowers were revealing new irresistible and addictive intensity,” said Kurkdjian.
Housed in the iconic totem bottle that was modelled after the figure 8 silhouette created by Christian Dior in 1947, this amphora also gets a makeover, with a reduction in the weight of its glass, making it the lightest bottle on the market, whilst also being more environmentally friendly. Another new detail sits atop the bottle’s distinct slender neck, a golden bead engraved with the words J’adore.
Set to launch March 1st, this new confident and feminine scent is an embodiment of Rihanna, and the perfect new signature scent for the modern woman.
