Dior‘s iconic foundations, Dior Forever Skin Glow and Dior Forever Skin Wear, get reinvented for 2026. Created by Peter Philips, creative and image director for Dior Makeup, the new formulas were developed to combine a filter-like finish with the benefits found in a skincare serum, drawing on Philips extensive experience working backstage with models and celebrities where foundation needs to hold up during photoshoots, red carpet events, and the runway.
“Over the decades, Dior Forever has been the subject of continual innovation to adapt to what our clients want. We have developed textures that combine high-performance results with an ultra-light feel, as well as formulas that blur imperfections while delivering a long-term skincare effect, and a wider range of shades,” said Philips.
Designed to deliver a buildable texture, Dior Forever Skin Glow has an ultra-soft, creamy formula that instantly corrects imperfections, for a finish that’s like a real-life filter. At the heart of the foundation is a highly reflective oil, helping to evenly diffuse light on the skin. This results in a soft-focus effect, reducing the appearance of pores and imperfections. The Skin Glow formula goes beyond your everyday foundation, layering in hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, and peptide, to help improve skin, even when you’re not wearing any makeup.
For a medium to high coverage, Dior Forever Skin Wear melts into the skin for a bare skin feeling, with a natural matte finish. This formula avoids the powdery effect that plague a lot of matte foundations, combining a powder with a polymer for a long-wear finish. This formula also combines the same three actives as the Skin Glow, helping to transform skin even with you’re not wearing it.
Another standout to these new and improved formulas is the 45 shades available, including a new pigment that’s better adapted to darker skins. “With Dior Forever, each woman should be able to find the shade that suits her skin, but also looks the most natural,” said Philips.
