For the Dior 2023 cruise collection by Maria Grazia Chiuri, Peter Philips, the creative and image director for Dior makeup, created a strong, customized look that focused on accentuating the eyes.
Philips describes a “really intense smoky eye, where dark hues blend into the shade of wide-brimmed hats. It’s a strong and dramatic look on a luminous face.” For the look, Philips used the Diorshow 24h Stylo 09 Matte Black as well as the most intense black shade from the 5 Couleurs Couture 07 Black Bow palette. A flawless, natural complexion was achieved by using the Dior Capture Totale skincare routine, which features the Capture Totale Super Potent Serum and the Capture Totale Super Potent Eye Serum. The Rouge Dior Satin Balms were used on lips in a variety of hues depending on the models skin tone. A natural nail look was achieved by using Dior Vernis in 108 Muguet, a fresh nude.
