Toronto’s DIANA have released the visual for “Moment of Silence” from their 2016 LP, Familiar Touch.
Directed by Kevan Funk, the video follows the life of a fish processing worker that escapes her mundane day job by singing in a metal band. “I love this video because it’s an idea that never would have entered my mind – to have a story of a metal singer who finds their ‘silence’ or solace in those moments on stage where she can really let loose,” said DIANA’s Kieran Adams in a press release. “It’s really incredible how the story delivered with such subtlety and with so many picturesque moments.”
