While we sit in the heat of summer here in North America, the craftsman behind New Zealand brand Deadly Ponies are shivering in anticipation for their warmer weather which takes place during our fall winter season. For their spring 2013/2014 collection, they’ve once again dazzled with striking accessories in unassuming colours and shapes, some classic, some updated with many fresh seasonal additions in what they’re calling. Sand Castle.
Inspired by Persina royalty, the collection hints at spices like turmeric in many refreshing orange leather handbags, crossbodies in royal blue , and light olive shoulder bags, while new styles classic black bubbled lamb maintain the timeless appeal. It’s the first time we’re seeing a dry brushed suede and as well as the bubbled leather in the collection, but delightfully, their signature goat fur accents haven’t been dismissed for spring.
