Ever since Alice Glass peaced out from Crystal Castles, we’ve been wondering if Ethan Kath could even continue the influential bloghouse project – and even then, could he sustain its magic?
Kath has brought on Edith Frances as Crystal Castles’ new vocalist, and their new track and video for “Concrete” for the most part manages to maintain that Crystal Castles essence. The visuals look like as if it were shot with a video camera smeared in blue Vaseline as Frances slinks through a crowded club trying to avoid any light sources that grace her face.
