Industrial music icon Cosey Fanni Tutti of Throbbing Gristle is set to release an autobiography next year titled Art Sex Music. Readers will get an inside look into her four decades long career as a mainstay in electronic music as well as “the story of her work as a pornographic model and striptease artiste which challenged assumptions about morality, pornography and art.”
Cosey will make be doing a Q&A with Maria Fusco at the ICA Theatre in London on October 26. The event will be followed up with a screening of the COUM Transmissions film After Cease to Exist and an exhibition of Cosey’s original ICA Prostitution Magazine Actions.
The memoir will be published by Faber in April 2017.
