We rolled over to Parkdale shop Community 54 on Friday night for a special edition of their Finale Friday series to celebrate the Converse Made By You campaign. The event centred around a super cool wall installation of 350 pairs of white Chuck Taylor All Star’s strung together and turned into art by local graffiti artists Birdo and Elicser, whose shoe portraits were also featured in the space along with shop owners Joel Reilly and Daymon Green.
54 pairs from the wall will be selected and uniquely packaged with a photo of the whole art installation and sold with a portion of the proceeds going to the Parkdale Collegiate Institute to support their arts program.
