Earlier this week we showed you the Converse Rubber Tracks ‘Oh Hello’ video featuring one of our favourite little indie bands Tennis, and now the project is heading to Toronto. From June 12 – June 15 2012, the Converse Rubber Tracks project will be running during North by Northeast (NXNE) and is inviting all emerging artists from across the country to apply for studio time.
Basically it works like this, artists are invited to visit Converse.com to receive more information about Converse Rubber Tracks studio and you can apply for either Toronto, ON here. If your application is accepted, Canadian musicians of all genres and ages will be able to reserve one of the five days the studio will be open to record their original music alongside the Converse Rubber Tracks team of experienced engineers at no cost. At the end of their studio time, the artists will retain all the rights to their own music. This is kind of awesome.
If you are in a band, or know some one in a band and live in Canada, be sure to get on this!
