This fall Converse celebrates 40 years since the introduction of the Pro Leather basketball shoe with the release of the Pro Leather ’76. This contemporary upgrade to the heritage court silhouette, will consist of three drops that reintroduces the icon in its purest form, featuring the simplicity of the classic look upgraded with superior Nike comfort technology made for today’s influencers of street style. The Pro Leather ‘76 collection delivers innovative features including a Nike Lunarlon sockliner and a contemporary shape. The new model features improved comfort for on-the-go lifestyles as well as a sleek, modern silhouette that honors the original icon’s style and attitude.
The Pro Leather ‘76 Vintage Suede is the result of taking a timeless court silhouette and stripping it down to its pure form. Featuring a hairy suede upper with white leather detailing, the sneaker has also been given a contemporary upgrade with the inclusion of a Nike Lunarlon sockliner, adding superior cushioning. The shoe will come in four “sport classic” colours, Grape, Yellow, Grey, and Fire. A white Chevron, outsole and laces give a nice vintage accent to each colourway.
The Converse Pro Leather ’76 Mono and Vintage Suede Collections will release exclusively at Foot Locker stores in Canada as well as online at Footlocker.ca on December 1st.
