It’s that time again! The good beer folks down at Steam Whistle Brewing are hosting yet another well selected roster of bands for their 18th UNSIGNED indie music series this Friday April 29th at the roundhouse.
This time around they’ve got a nice little local mix of light and heavier hearted indie rock in store performed by the likes of The Darcys, Wildlife, and Freedom Or Death starting at 9pm. As always, it’s a cheap ticket with 100% of the proceeds going to a great local cause, the Artists’ Health Centre Foundation, so if you aren’t already in regular attendance at UNSIGNED, you should definitely check it out.
If you haven’t heard of any of these bands you can watch watch Freedom Or Death’s video collaboration with Spike Jonze for the track “Lost In Dances”, Wildlife’s live performance of “When I Get Home”, and The Darcys takeaway show of “Shaken’ Down The Old Bones” below. The great thing about UNSIGNED is that even if you don’t know the bands, it’s always a good time and the perfect setting to check out new music with friends while enjoying the freshest pint of beer the city has to offer!
