In today’s cocktail hour, we feature one of our favourite summer drinks, the South Side. It combines refreshing mint, just as a mojito would, but is made with gin and has with a more refined presentation. We like to use St. George’s Terrior Gin for our South Side’s, which we picked up on our last trip to Chicago. It has a nice flavour profile including hints of Douglas fir, California bay laurel, and coastal sage, which blends wonderfully with the minty flavours in this gin-forward cocktail.
Try making a round of these at your next summer party!
