A Closer Look: Yeezy Boost 350 V2 ‘Core Black/Red’

With the first adidas Originals YEEZY drop of 2017 only a matter of days away, we wanted to give you all a closer look at the upcoming Boost 350 V2 “Core Black/Red.” This upcoming drop is also the first time that Kanye’s YEEZY Boosts will be available in both adult and infant sizing at the time of release. Also new on this 2017 V2 is the return of the V1 (are we calling the first run V1’s now?) heel tab which was absent on all previous adidas YEEZY V2 models.

From a comfort angle, the new YEEZY’s come with an internal toebox reinforcement and appear to fit more comfortably than the previous V2’s, bringing the sizing more in line with “True to Size.” The shoe also features reflective 3-stripe detailing on the inner heel for aesthetic appeal.

The shoe comes in a predominantly black Primeknit upper with contrast red lettering of the ‘SPLY-350’ as well as red stitching on the heel tab. Rounding out the “Core Black” look the shoe features a semi-translucent rubber outsole and TPU sidewalls covering and protecting the adidas BOOST technology sole.
