Chanel’s Fall-Winter 2025/26 collection reimagines house classics—bows, pearls, tweed, and the white camellia—through bold proportions and intricate layering. Designed by the brand’s creative studio, while the house awaits the arrival of new Creative Director Matthieu Blazy, the collection exaggerates scale, transforming signature elements into statement pieces.

Presented beneath the awe-inspiring elegance of the glass roof of the Grand Palais, the show featured a striking black ribbon backdrop by scenographer Willo Perron, mirroring the collection’s central motif. Bows appeared in countless forms—oversized on chunky knitwear, cut out with pearl borders, or cascading down blouses, dresses, and even a black down jacket and sweatpants set. Accessories extended the theme, with heels made of a single pearl and crossbody bags mimicking oversized pearl necklaces.

Silhouettes played with perception. A mini tweed jacket paired with extra-long trousers, a poplin shirt stretched to ankle length, and a cropped tweed jacket transformed into a coatdress with jeweled buttons. Layering added depth: a three-piece tweed look featured a micro-jacket lined in red silk, a wrap skirt, and flared trousers. Sheer tulle overlays softened structured suits, while a hooded organza parka embellished with bows added a delicate contrast.

Textures and prints enhanced the illusion. Silk mimicked tweed, chiffon jeans introduced an airy touch, and ribbon motifs floated across flowing fabrics. Feminine details, like sock-ankle boots and satin bouillonné shoes, reinforced the collection’s elegant yet playful spirit.

Balancing fantasy and precision, the collection reinterprets Chanel’s heritage with theatrical proportions and dreamlike fluidity, blending tradition with modern illusion.
