The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) has partnered with the NYC Economic Development Corporation to give fashion graduates the opportunity to showcase their work.

The first annual Fashion Future Graduate Showcase has brought together 60 of the best fashion graduates from a selection of top design schools including, Parsons, Pratt, FIT, RISD and Academy of Art University. The showcase will be open to the public and will allow graduates to gain much-needed exposure before entering the workforce.

CFDA CEO Steven Kolb has said of the project:

“This is important, because it’s the first time we’re able to bridge the talent [and] the workforce, so we’re excited, and hope that through the almost 500 people that are going to come through the doors in the next few days, that there will be opportunities for you to really develop your careers and further your dreams as designers.”
