While it’s no secret that NFL players (and most professional athletes in fact) have personal stylists who dress them in high-end and fashionable duds, we were as surprised as anyone to find that Bloomingdales commissioned some CFDA designers to create custom football helmets for the upcoming Super Bowl. Designs are by John Varvatos, the brothers Ovadia, Billy Reid, Donna Karan, Dao Yi Chao and Maxwell Osborne of Public School), the Bloomingdales team and more. The initiative is to help promote the first ever New York based Super Bowl and some are pretty amazing.
