Romance meets performance again. Cecilie Bahnsen and The North Face are back for their third collaboration, continuing to blur the lines between delicate design and real-world utility.

First unveiled during Bahnsen’s Spring Summer 2026 runway show, the latest collection leans into the idea of instinctive dressing where technical pieces are reimagined through movement, layering, and transformation. The result is a lineup that feels equal parts functional and ethereal, balancing performance-driven construction with the Bahnsen’s signature romantic codes.

Florals take the lead this time around, appearing across ripstop fabrics and modular silhouettes. A standout jacket features zip-off sleeves that convert it into a vest, paired with trousers that transform into shorts—practicality, but with a playful twist. Wind-ready pullovers are cinched at the waist for a more sculptural fit, while a hybrid coat pushes outerwear into softer, more fluid territory.

Accessories round things out with equal intention. A flower-shaped carabiner adds a subtle statement to any kit, while the collection’s only footwear offering a “shandal” hybrid fuses sandal ease with sneaker function, finished with Bahnsen’s signature floral detailing.

What sets this chapter apart is its shift in tone. While earlier drops leaned more overtly into alpine performance, this latest offering feels lighter, more expressive, less about the mountain, more about movement through everyday environments.

The collection lands March 27 via both brands’ webstores, offering a fresh take on technical dressing that doesn’t sacrifice softness for strength.
