Carbon fiber material is made of extremely thin fibers about 0.005–0.010 mm in diameter and composed mostly of carbon atoms. The carbon atoms are bonded together in microscopic crystals that are aligned parallel to the long axis of the fiber. The crystal alignment makes the fiber very strong for its size. It has many uses from medical to vechile, but none look as slick as the new Carbon Fiber Blazer High from the Nike Holiday 2009 Collection. Ok, so these shoes are not made from actual carbon fiber, but just made to look as such, but regardless they are cool as f**k! Deviating from the more traditional carbon fiber look as an accent, the Nike Blazer High has a complete carbon fiber look on the upper. The Swoosh and accents are a clean white leather and the sole is light grey. Very nice!
