Renowned winter coat manufacturer Canada Goose has once again partnered with long-time collaborator October’s Very Own on an ultra-luxe capsule collection. The two Toronto-based brands have dug into the Canada Goose archives and reworked two heritage pieces to gather inspiration for a brand new hat. The three-piece collection is made from Loro Piana wool and is available in three colourways Midnight, Sierra, and Limestone.
The Banff Parka for OVO takes elevated streetwear and mixes it with extreme winter utility and maximum warmth. With a Thermal Experience Index (TEI) rating of 4, the parka can withstand temperatures of up to -25°C, and costs $1,495 CAD.
For more of a fall look, there is the Hooded Freestyle Vest for OVO, which adds a new spin to the classic style. The vests will cost $1,095 CAD. Both parka and vest feature a bold OVO patch, embroidered with the Canada Goose disc and are made with luxurious Loro Piana Storm System GX wool. Loro Piana Storm System GX is a premium fabric treated with Rain System, making it breathable, water repellent and wind-resistant.
The final item in the collection is the Loro Piana Wool Cap for OVO, which will cost $250 CAD. Designed with a low-profile silhouette and adjustable snapback, the cap features an embroidered October’s Very Own wordmark on the side and the Canada Goose disc on the front.
The Canada Goose x OVO Fall/Winter 2022 collection is available beginning October 7, 2022, at select Canada Goose and OVO retail stores globally, canadagoose.com and octobersveryown.com.
