Toronto Island’s beloved summer festival, Camp Wavelength, is set to return to Artscape Gibraltor Point this year from August 18-20.
The three-day celebration, filled with music, art and overall strong community vibes, previously announced American art-rockers Deerhoof, hometown heroes Dilly Dally and Hamilton electro/R&B sorceress Jessy Lanza as headliners for the weekend. Camp Wavelength will also see performances from Rich Aucoin, Un Blonde, Duchess Says and more.
Today’s wave of additional musical acts for this year includes Montreal duo She-Devils, Brampton rapper Haviah Mighty, Dan Misha Goldman (one half of Snowblink), Hamilton singer-songwriter Tomi Swick and Montreal dream-pop duo Best Fern. As always, Wavelength’s musical performances will be accompanied by a rich program of installation and performance art.
Daily schedules are set to be announced next month. Purchase your weekend passes via the Wavelength website if you have yet to act on this diverse, inclusive and truly one-of-a-kind festival experience.
