After the initial reveal back in February, Raf Simons has shared the official campaign imagery for his Calvin Klein Fall/Winter 2017 collection.
The campaign was shot by famed Simons collaborator Willy Vanderperre and gives off a Western vibe – a stark contrast to the Spring 2017 underwear campaign, although some similarities can be derived.Vanderperre’s use of motion and the ladder maintain the collection’s freshness and juxtapose the vintage Americana inspiration.
Vintage pieces are reworked and restyled with a modern aesthetic including long coats and dresses, trousers, suits and more. Followers of Simons’ work will recognize the imagery from his Calvin Klein “American Classics” campaign featured on the billboards.
