Calvin Harris has rolled out yet another summer-ready jam, “Heatstroke.”
As a campier follow up to Harris’ Song of the Summer contender “Slide,” “Heatstroke” rolls in on a disco-chic hook delivered by the king of happiness Pharrell, and filled out with shimmery verses by Young Thug and Ariana Grande. Thugger steps in a handful of times to provide a sprinkle of backing vocals, and with that alone, “Heatstroke” has got to be the most uplifting song you’ll hear all week.
