In a flurry of Canadian fashion these past few days, we decided to wait until today, the final night of LG fashion week, to share this absolutely gorgeous spring 2011 lookbook from one of our most favourite new designers Calla Haynes, and her brand CALLA.
It’s the Toronto-native’s third collection to date at her Paris-based atelier and after the first collection was released this time last year, we were sure not to lose sight of her progress as a solo designer. It’s unfortunate that our fair city lost such a talented designer to Paris (though we can harding blame her) because her collection would have made a great addition to an otherwise hit or miss fashion week this year.
The spring designs are light with subtle colours and patterns, and hem lines that flow below the knee unlike her rather revealing, corset heavy debut collection which we loved just as much!
