The ongoing trend of pastels for autumn continued at CALLA’s presentation earlier this week during New York Fashion Week at Milk Studios. The Toronto-expat designer Calla Hynes takes the trend to a whole other level for the upcoming fall winter season with vibrant canary yellow, bordering on fluro, applied to black lit mimosa prints, geometric prints in easter egg tones as well as plum and navy, and yet another blooming rose print.
And we thought prints were on their way out, well think again! CALLA inspires us to take more chances getting dressed in the upcoming season, even if it’s just a hint of colour and print here and there. We’re already pining for that logo crew neck to be in our wardrobe for fall, not to mention all the fun prints!
