Burberry is set to launch what they call a ‘Scarf Bar,’ both online and in-store, where customers will be able to fully customize their own version of the classic cashmere scarf. In a first for the company, when you customize your own scarf you will be able to choose from 30 colourways, as well as 30 different shades of embroidery thread. Each scarf is woven at Scottish mills and is made from 100% cashmere. However, this also means that they cost a pretty penny, as a monogrammed “classic” scarf retails for $550, while the larger “lightweight” option with embroidered initials runs for $870. Keep an eye out for the Burberry ‘Scarf Bars’ to be opening in the coming months and get your own customized monogrammed scarf.
