British heritage brand Burberry has just announced a new photography exhibit entitled Here We Are, which will coincide with London Fashion Week.

The exhibit includes more than 200 pieces from 30 British photographers including, Dafydd Jones, Bill Brandt, Shirley Baker, Jane Bown, Jo Spence and Charlie Phillips and aims to capture a uniquely British perspective. Here We Are will be housed in London’s Old Sessions House and will cover three floors of the courthouse, which prior to this exhibit had been closed for 100 years. Burberry’s runway show will also take place in Old Sessions House. The exhibit was curated by Burberry president and chief creative officer Christopher Bailey and writer Lucy Moore along with photographer Alasdair McLellan, who was recently named as a creative collaborator with Burberry.

In a release, Bailey said of Here We Are:

“It has been an extraordinary privilege to gather together this collection of photographs, that have influenced me so much over the years. They provide a portrait of British life, in all its nuances, both exceptional and mundane, beautiful and harsh.”

In addition to the exhibit, which will be open to the public from September 18 to October 1, the space will also play host to a series of workshops and events throughout fashion week. Learn more about the exhibit and events at Burberry.com.
