Nothing says summer like watching live music outside and we’re excited to announce the season has finally arrived in Toronto at Budweiser Stage! Officially opened last night after over a million dollars in upgrades, the summer music line-up began with a show from the one and only Chance The Rapper.
We were there to catch all the action and experience all the new upgrades first hand at one of our favourite summer music venues. One of the most exciting upgrades were the brand new Artist Murals located along the venues River Walk, showcasing bands and acts from the summer music line up by local artists.
We arrived early for a few brews in the snazzy new Budweiser River Bar located just inside the gate, and were treated to a live show from a local band. After a few Bud’s we got hungry and decided to check out the amazing new food offerings including the Buds & Burgers area, serving up (you guessed it) Bud’s and Ontario’s best Webers burgers. It’s the perfect pre-show meeting spot and one of the only places you can get a Webers burger outside of their flagship on the way to cottage country.
Budweiser Stage has also added their own exclusive merch stop, in case you forget your sunglasses, need a koozie for that frosty beer, or want to pick up a blanket for the lawn, they’ve got you covered all season long.
A couple more beers in hand and we were ready to take our seats for the show and while it was a rainy one, Chance The Rapper fans didn’t seem to mind one bit. Following the show, we headed over to the all-new Uber Zone to quickly and easily get a ride home.
