British Vogue has tapped stylist and photographer Venetia Scott to be the glossy’s new fashion director.

Scott is the first hire under the leadership of new British Vogue editor-in-chief Edward Enninful. Scott has a long history with the magazine where she worked as Grace Coddington’s assistant before branching out into styling and photography with a range of different brands and publications.

Enninful said of Scott:

“Visionary, influential and inspiring are overused terms, but in this case appropriate to describe Venetia’s work. Venetia will continue the legacy of creativity and innovation for which British Vogue is known, positioning it for its next century.”

We can’t wait to see how British Vogue continues to develop with this new addition to the team.
