Bottega Veneta has unveiled the Orbit Flash, a sleek update to its signature Orbit sneaker line, arriving just as retro 70s-inspired runners are making a comeback. Released mid-July through the brand’s website, the Orbit Flash blends vintage sport aesthetics with the house’s signature minimalist luxury.

Where the original Orbit embraced a chunky, futuristic silhouette, the Orbit Flash is flatter, more fluid, and more speedy. Its low profile, gently rounded toe, and clean paneling create a vintage athletic feel without leaning on logos or color-blocking.

Materials are understated yet meticulously chosen. Lightweight nylon forms the base, soft suede overlays, while a lambskin lining and leather insole provide a second-skin feel, grounded by a durable rubber gumsole with heel tread and tonal Bottega Veneta engraving at the back.

Colorways range from grounded tones like Sea Salt with Black or Caramel, to more expressive combinations such as Sky Blue with pops of Egg Yolk Yellow, balancing quiet versatility with playful touches. Made in Italy and priced at 990 USD, the Orbit Flash is a refined statement sneaker, designed for those who favor craftsmanship and proportion over logos and flash.
