Boiler Room have come a long way since starting out in a sweaty London basement with a dinky camera mounted in the corner over 8 years ago. You have to admit the concept of live streaming London’s underground music scene onto the internet was a revolutionary concept at the time, and fast forward to now, Boiler Room is cropping up with residencies all over the world at breakneck speed – from premiering a live set of Skepta’s Konichiwa in Japan to an upcoming set in Tanzania.
There’s now one place you can reliably catch Boiler Room be each week: it’s now making a new home on Apple Music’s Beats 1 radio every Saturday night. The first show titled Boiler Room on Beats 1 premieres tomorrow night at 9PM EST and will be curated by Ahadadream and Teki Latex to bring you “forward-thinking club music including UK Funky, Grime, global dance sounds and beyond.” We can’t wait to hear who they bring on each week.
