Book publisher Bloomsbury UK are releasing special edition book covers for the 20th anniversary of the first book in the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. That’s right: it’s been 20 years since Harry Potter came into our lives – and turned into one of the most beloved book series of an entire generation of readers.
Bloomsbury have revealed four separate covers, each displaying one of the four houses at Hogwarts: Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, Gryffindor, and Slytherin. Diehard Potter fans are known to be very passionate about the house they are “sorted” into.
The paperback edition is £7.19, while the hardcover edition will set you back £13.49.
Don’t front like Harry Potter wasn’t the greatest book you’ve read in the last 20 years: head over to Bloomsbury UK’s website to place an order for a special 20th-anniversary edition of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.
If you’re unsure which cover to cop (and are looking for a way to pass the time in the office this Friday), head over to Rowling’s Pottermore site to be sorted into your Hogwarts house.
