Last fall tech giant Apple introduced AirPods – wireless earbuds that literally hang out of your ear – and if you’re like us, you probably haven’t put them to good use. Now, thanks to BlackPods, they might start making a regular appearance.
The Brooklyn-based team has introduced a matte black, scratch-resistant coating designed specifically for Apple’s AirPods. The custom finish is a perfect complement for Black, Jet Black or Space Gray iPhones.
You can either buy new ($249), or send your own AirPods in for an upgrade ($99). Every pair is hand-finished by a team of artisans in Brooklyn, New York.
