After releasing his 12 for 12 mixtape back in July, Mississippi rapper/producer Big K.R.I.T. tweeted that he was no longer to record label Def Jam Recordings. In a new interview with Sway in the Morning, K.R.I.T. went into further detail about the split and dropped a new track entitled “Free Agent.”
The song is self-produced (like much of K.R.I.T.’s discography) and has the rapper going off on major labels and bragging about how he’s always been a free agent at heart. “How they rob a nigga, they gon’ shake his other hand,” K.R.I.T. raps.
