What do LOEWE, Aubrey Plaza and Dan Levy all have in common? Confusion and wrong answers only! The Spanish fashion house always brings the finest cheeky energy, and their latest fashion film starring Aubrey Plaza and Daniel Levy might be the best thing we’ve seen on the internet all year.

The Ally Pankiw-directed film entitled Decades of Confusion is set at a national spelling bee spanning the decades from 1971 to the present day. Written by Dan Levy, who also plays the exasperated judge alongside Aubrey Plaza, a clueless contestant, Levy and Plaza rotate through a number of iconic colourful looks from the LOEWE archive for each era brought to life with styling, makeup, and wigs by award-winning hair stylist and ‘wig maestra’ Michelle Ceglia.

Plaza is transformed from a nervous contestant with oversized glasses and curtain bangs in the 70s, to an 80s Miami-style dominating glamazon, to a 90s Texan socialite who is convinced, since she carries an Amazona bag that she knows how to correctly spell LOEWE, to a current day fashion fan who claims to know creative director Jonathan Anderson who she affectionately calls “Johnny” while wearing a FW22 runway car-shaped dress.
