Beats and Nike are finally taking their partnership into hardware with the newly announced Powerbeats Pro 2 Nike Special Edition. It marks the first time Beats has ever shared its earbud design, placing the Nike Swoosh on the right bud and the classic Beats “b” on the left. A small detail, but a meaningful one given how closely both brands have been tied through athletes and culture over the years.

The look leans into Nike’s signature Volt palette, pairing it with a matte black charging case speckled in Volt and stamped with “JUST DO IT” inside the lid. Under the hood, it is all performance. Adaptive Active Noise Cancelling and Transparency mode are joined by built-in heart rate monitoring that syncs with the Fitness app and Nike Run Club. Battery life reaches up to 45 hours with the case, and the IPX4 rating keeps things covered through sweat-heavy sessions. The wrap-around earhooks remain, designed to stay locked in from workouts to more casual wear.

The launch is backed by a funny campaign starring LeBron James, who trades the court for the golf course in “Keep Your Head in the Game.” Playing into his less-than-perfect swing, the spot features appearances from Tom Kim, Lionel Boyce, and Travis “Taco” Bennett, with LeBron tuning out the noise and leaning into the moment.

The Powerbeats Pro 2 Nike Special Edition drops on March 20 for $249.99 USD through Apple and Nike, serving as a clean crossover among sport, tech, and everyday use.
