BEAMS and Birkenstock continue their ongoing partnership for Spring Summer 2026 with a sharper take on the Boston. The BEAMS x Birkenstock Boston “BONE PATTERN Smooth Black” builds on their established series, delivering a more refined version of the classic silhouette.
Now in its fourth installment, the Bone Pattern line introduces a full material shift. This pair arrives in smooth black leather, replacing the traditional constructions used previously. The update coincides with the 50th anniversary of the Boston, giving the model a more elevated finish while keeping its familiar shape intact.
The standout remains the upper. Borrowing from Birkenstock’s outsole traction design, the Bone Pattern is deeply embossed across the leather, creating a dense, textured surface. The all-black execution keeps things understated, while the detailing adds just enough depth to separate it from standard releases.
It lands in a space that feels true to both brands, balancing function with a more considered street casual look. The BEAMS x Birkenstock Boston “BONE PATTERN Smooth Black” releases March 20 at BEAMS Harajuku, followed by March 22 through BEAMS and BEAMS BOY.
