The world is bracing itself for Adele season. The music video for her “Hello,” the lead single off her third album 25, shattered the Vevo record for most views in 24 hours. It currently has more than 90 million views on YouTube. On the heels of such a great response to her comeback, BBC Music announced a one-hour special hosted by Graham Norton where Adele will perform old classics as well as new material.
I can’t wait for the show. The BBC has been wonderful to me over the years and Graham and I get on great so it’s going to be a laugh.
This will be Adele’s first televised performance since February 2013’s Oscar where she performed “Skyfall” and won Best Original Song for her James Bond theme. Norton will chat with Adele about her life to date and the new album. It will be broadcast on BBC One in November. Speaking of the special, Norton said “This opportunity to spend an hour with Adele, her music and her stories is a truly rare treat. If I wasn’t hosting this special I’d be sat at home watching it!”
