Barbour returned to the runway at London Fashion Week for ERDEM’s Autumn Winter 2026 show marking the designer’s 20th anniversary with two ornate one-of-a-kind pieces created exclusively for the occasion.
Both coats blend Barbour’s utilitarian heritage with ERDEM’s refined silhouettes and expressive detailing, one in black waxed cotton and the other in a soft cream. Designed as a conversation between the designer and the muses who shaped his body of work, the pieces are rooted in craft and feel both grounded yet poetic.
The creative relationship between the two brands began at London Fashion Week during the Spring Summer 2024 season, when Erdem Moralioglu reimagined Barbour’s classic waxed jackets through a couture lens. That dialogue continued for a Spring Summer 2025 capsule collection, introducing outerwear styles that balanced Barbour’s rugged construction with ERDEM’s floral motifs and precise tailoring.
At its core, the partnership is a full circle moment for both brands who each share a respect for thoughtful design and creative renewal. As ERDEM celebrates two decades of independent fashion, the return of Barbour feels less like a collaboration and more like a continuation of a conversation that values heritage, storytelling, and enduring design.
